7th Fleet Recognizes YCAPS Vice President and American Red Cross Team for Service to USS FITZGERALD Crew
YCAPS Vice President Jenna Lindeke Heavenrich has spent the last year building a robust disaster program for the American Red Cross station in Yokosuka. When the USS STETHEM returned to port after a collision on June 17, 2017 and in the weeks that followed, she led Red Cross Disaster Action Team, which delivered relief and recovery services to almost 300 members of the crew.

On July 21, Vice Adm. Joseph Aucoin, Commander US 7th Fleet, presented the American Red Cross with an award and letter of appreciation for their outstanding support of the waterfront.
Also recognized in the ceremony were the United Service Organization (USO), Yokosuka Navy Exchange, Fleet and Family Support Center counselors and Family Assistance Support Team, CFAY Port OPS, Navy-Marine Corps Relief Society, VFW Post 1054, and Yokosuka Commissary.
