YCAPS’ Mongolia Connect Director, Nicholas Millward, recently served as a delegate as the Ulaanbaatar Dialogue on Northeast Asia Security (UB Dialogue). This was the second year that the Mongolian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Institute for Strategic Studies invited YCAPS to send a representative to the high-level forum. Representatives from across Asia, Europe, and North America gathered discussed geopolitical instability, energy infrastructure, youth engagement, and multilateralism. Thus, the event provided an opportunity for YCAPS to strengthen its relations with scholars, practitioners, and policymakers. It was a fruitful trip resulting in new relationships that will provide foundation for YCAPS' growth of stabilizing peace practitioners within Northeast Asia.
