YCAPS was pleased to send Nick Millward, Director of the Mongolia Connect Program, to serve as a delegate tp The Ulaanbaatar Dialogue on Northeast Asian Security UB-Dialogue. The international conference was held on 23-24 June. iith the series resuming after the Covid-19 pandemic. t his 7th UB-Dialogue was held in order to reinforce confidence in institutional engagement and promote regional cooperation in Northeast Asia.
Officials, scholars, and practitioners from more than 20 counties attended the two-day event. Expert panelists from Japan, Mongolia, the Republic of Korea, Russia, and PRC shared perspectives on a plethora of topics, including confidence building measures, territorial disputes, economic engagement, and renewable energy power grids. The energy and productivity of the dialogue was encouraging, which reinforces the need for Mongolia to continue hosting the fruitful UB-Dialogue. YCAPS is proud to be part of this dynamic community.
