On 19 March 2019, YCAPS President, John Bradford visited the Maritime Institute of Malaysia in Kuala Lumpur where he shared a lecture regarding his research into the history of Japanese maritime security cooperation in Southeast Asia. He was introduced by Martin Sebastian, Senior Fellow in MIMA's Centre for Maritime Security & Diplomacy and the Q&A session was led by MIMA Director General, First Admiral (Retired) Dato' Chin Yoon Chin. The session allowed for an exciting exchange of ideas and information about regional maritime cooperation.
