On Friday, November 3rd, YCAPS Treasurer LT William Yale participated in the 2023 Sasebo Self-Defense Force Parade, featuring local units from the Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force (JMSDF), the Japan Ground Self-Defense Force (JGSDF), and from the U.S. Navy’s Commander, Fleet Activities Sasebo (CFAS). LT Yale commented: “It was an honor to participate in today’s parade and help represent the U.S. Navy in Sasebo. Events like these represent the strength of the U.S.-Japan alliance and the bonds of friendship between both countries. Sasebo truly is a ‘Navy town’ and today brought that fact into sharp relief.”
