Caitlin Doornbos

Caitlin Doornbos is a foreign correspondent based at Yokosuka Naval Base, Japan. She’s a University of Kansas graduate who previously covered crime and public safety for the Orlando Sentinel, where she was part of the team that became a Pulitzer Prize finalist in breaking news for its coverage of the mass shooting at Pulse nightclub. She is currently pursuing a Master of Defense and Strategic Studies through the University of Texas at El Paso.
