Speaker: Jiwon Ok is a young politician in South Korea's People Power Party (PPP). Jiwon studied Economics at Cornell University and holds a master's in International Relations from Tsinghua University in China. She is passionate about addressing the declining birthrate in South Korea and improving gender equality in the workplace. South Korea's economy has been developed, but the gender equality index is poor. Even in the face of political attacks and cyber-bullying from young males who labeled her 'feminist', she stood her ground and is forging a future for herself to become a young female conservative politician.
